I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Raleigh, NC) in Jan 2022
Interview
The process was very easy and smooth. I only had one phone interview and then one zoom video call with the hiring manager. The process took less than 2 weeks.

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to calm the customer down?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Albuquerque, NM) in Nov 2021
Interview
Extremely frustrating to go through a month long hiring process just to receive a 30 second phone call to rescind their offer.
I was very upfront about my medical conditions with two separate interviewers; both assured me I was good to proceed. I passed their background investigation, GOT THE JOB, left my job early to in order to get finger printed as well as drug tested within their 3 day required time frame, filled out my new hire packet, was assigned an employee ID, they had contacted my current employer to verify information I had provided… a lot of time invested in this hiring process. Received an email from them asking me to contact their contracted drug screener who confirmed what I had already disclosed to them, then received a follow up call from Fidelity that my offer has been rescinded and to try again in six months. If I felt like contesting their decision, I can spend another 45 minutes waiting to speak to someone and schedule a $250 drug test and try again.
Why on Earth would you keep processing the candidate after they disclose their medical history and medications when you know they won’t pass? WHY? I have valid government issued medical card.
The entire process was drawn out, and frankly, I’m incredibly disappointed in Fidelity for pulling this. I went from being excited for this new career patch to crushed, embarrassed, dejected and humiliated.

Interview
It went pretty smoothly. The first step was doing a digital interview, the next was a phone interview, and the last step is an interview with manager. I knew in the next couple of hours after the manager interview that I was hired. The recruiter called back and gave me the good news. They use the STAR method so be prepared with awnsers.
