Home Office interview questions

Very easy interview process. Bear in mind that they are not interested about your past achievements or anything so just focus on the competency questions. Initially , i was given 4 out of 7 in sift stage but after interview they scored 2 out of 7. I could not concentrate well and derailed my answer. Remember to stay on course and stick to competency indicators in order to get through.

Completed online application form with competencies and was invited to take a verbal reasoning sift test. Near maximum and was invited three weeks later to interview. Interview is based on the same competencies as application form. Feedback from application competencies is given beforehand for you to improve and gauge where you are. Was only asked about my competencies and why I applied. Also if I had any questions. You are allowed to bring notes to interview. Had to take written test afterwards which was only negative thing about experience. As my interview had run over I had to wait 45 minutes for the next lot of tests to start. Staff were all very friendly and mix of casual and professionally dressed.
