ING Financial Advisor interview questions

The first thing I did was attend a preliminary informational session with one of the managers in which he explained all of the aspects of the job. Next, I performed a 25 minute phone interview and after that, a one on one interview with the branch manager. Main questions: Why you? Why ING?

Initially was contacted via telephone regarding resume that was posted on a job search site. Asked a few basic questions, then invited to attend small group presentation. After presentation, group was able to elect to move forward in the process and set up a 1-1 interview following week. The face to face interview lasted about 30 min. Questions were mainly focused on personality traits, and then about potential clients that you know. The ideal candidate is someone who earns in excess of $100,000 yearly, or has a similar amount that can be invested in the near future. After one week, I made several phone calls to inquire about status of the decision to move on to the final round of interviews. Within a few days, I received a response that they had chosen to move on with other candidates.
