I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ING in Jul 2010
Interview
Started out with an information session, pretty general stuff which could be found on the job posting itself. This then followed with a one on one interview with one of the sales force. This was more geared towards behavioral questions, and the interviewer explaining about the position to me. It was good to have thought out potential networking sources beforehand.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ING (Québec, QC) in Nov 2009
Interview
Good interview. 1-1. Why ING? Why you? Wanted to know who in my network would be potential clients. Explained compensation and the process of becoming an employee.
The process took 3 days. I interviewed at ING (Philadelphia, PA) in Oct 2009
Interview
1 - Need to go in for an information session. Ask questions if possible
2 - General Interview, behavorial questions, will explain more about the positions. Know who you would contact first to be your first client = who is your network of people - ex. family? past employers? Anyone you know who could be potential clients and have a network of more people.
3 - Need to created a business plan - know specifically 5 people you would sit down and pitch the products to. Also make a guess of how long it would take you to do this (how long it would take you to "set up appointments"). Know why you want the job and general info.
