I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ING
Interview
After the cv selection, there were 2 rounds of interview, first round with 2 seniors from the department and then in the second round the with hr and the team leader. The questions are very basic, the relevancy of my past experience, why do I want the role..etc. In the first round the interviewers talked more than me, in the second round the team lead rarely talked and I had to deal with boring hr questions such as 'what are your weaknesses' or 'where do you see yourself in 10 years'

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at ING (Amsterdam) in Dec 2014
Interview
From the date of application submission to the end of the process was around 4 months or so. First was a call back on my resume from the recruiter. Then I had an interview with the immediate supervisor. That went well and I was asked back to meet the whole team two weeks later. There were about 4 people in total and it was more of a panel interview. That went well and I was asked back for a third interview to meet the head of the entire team another week later. They took another 2 weeks to finish interviewing other candidates and then I got an email saying they had chosen to hire a different candidate.
