I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Neu-Delhi) in Sep 2016
Interview
Kpmg came to my college for two profiles : Management Consulting and Risk Consulting. The process was GD and interview. I applied for Management Consulting. There were 8 students in one group and they selected two. My GD topic was Demographic Dividend. In the end they just took 2 people who had interned with them in the summer.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Bengaluru) in Sep 2016
Interview
Shortlist was based on the form we filled.
There was a presentation for the shortlisted students(around 160). Followed by GD,PI and HR.
GD: Topics differed among job roles. Here are the list of topics:
-For or against topics like automation, driverless cars.
-ios vs android
Around 30-35 people were shortlisted for the PI.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
There were 3 job roles: Management consulting, Forensics and Ethical hacking.
Surprisingly MC PI had technical questions that to about software testing. I was unable to answer s/w testing questions and as it turned out i was rejected because of the very few questions that i din't answer in s/w testing, same was told to me when i asked for feedback.
Around 25 people were shortlisted for HR round. Questions were pretty default like why kpmg? your 5year plan? Will you relocate? Are you willing to travel more?
Out of which around 18 were taken. Surprisingly lot of girls were taken, and this is the scenario in all the companies that came to our college till date.
So if sisters go get placed and brothers may the force be the with you all! :)
KPMG is really good company. No one should have second thoughts on this! I think that i dint like is one of the interviewer was constantly on phone and didn't bother much about the interview. And in my case they took 3 hours to say no. So one request from my side to KPMG is. Please don't make people wait and make them build false hope and then break there heart.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at KPMG (London, England) in Feb 2016
Interview
The recruitment process is the following: Short online application form, Aptitude Tests, Telephone Interview, Assessment Centre. There is also a partner interview which is the last stage and this is the stage I didn't get through to. Overall, the process is very slow due to a high number of applicants. I applied in September 2015 and it took me 5 months to get to an assessment centre. Interview at KPMG office in Canary Wharf, London.
