KPMG Manager interview questions

HR reached out to me for background screen. Then she asked me to apply online. After that, I interviewed with the HM. One week later interviewed with the director. They asked standard interview questions. During the interview, the HM told me too many people applied the position and the process would take a long time since they were interviewing other people as well. I interpret this as I am out of the play.

Couple of interviews followed by partner round. Both the interviews were a combination of case solving skills and experience questions. They tried to understand my experience to check my alignment and how I am going to be a fit for the firm
