KPMG Tax Associate interview questions

There was an interview on campus, followed by a site visit/second interview. The on campus interview lasted 45 minutes. KPMG partners took me and the other candidates out to dinner the night beforehand to get to know us. The second round interview took place at the KPMG New York office and last all day. There presentations, tours, and two 45 minutes interviews. They provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as paid for all transportation and hotel costs.

I went through the interview process first through the campus recruiting and got the invite for an office interview soon after. I was interviewing for an summer internship in the tax department. The office in the Brewery district (in Columbus) is very modern and very close to the Blue Jacket stadium. I thought the interviews were very relaxed with most of the questions focusing on interest in accounting and some of my past accounting experience. I would have loved to work for KPMG in Columbus as they seem like the top of the Big 4 in that area.
