Lidl Store Manager interview questions

It started out having to do a Group exercise, where everybody was given a role to spend a given budget on how to improve employees, customer or product issues. Then we had to do role play. If chosen to advance, a one-on-one interview was conducted.

Group of 65 people gathered in a hotel to give overview of company. After starting 30 mimutes late they took about an hour talking about Lidl. After that we broke up.inro a group activity where we had 20 minutes to each review and present our portion of a budget. The idea was to get as much of your budget approved by the group while people from the company observed. After this we broke into individual exercises one on one with someone.from Lidl playing an irate customer and you having to resolve the issue. Also while being observed. This was a 2 hour process where the one on one was for 4 minutes and the rest of the time was spent in another room waiting for everyone to have a turn. This was followed by lunch. After lunch...6 hours into the day the announced that they would be going forward with only 8 candidates for one on one interviews. The rest of us were dismissed without actually having any sort of a personal interaction with someone to discuss our background or what we can bring to the company.
