I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in May 2021
Interview
3 step interview (two meetings and one product demo). It was fast and efficient. Everything is done remote and the Lightspeed team is very well adapted. I heard from HR within 24h of my interview if I was moving forward or not.

Interview
It was a great experience and straight forward. First interview is with a recruiter, followed by an interview with 1 or more managers. You are then given an assignment (mock demo) to complete ad present and then a final call with a recruiter if all goes well. Overall, it met my expectations and they were very responsive and provided very useful feedback along the way.

Interview
Standard interview process. Phone, on-site with recruiter, then on-site with ‘director’.
I was declined due to the fact that I never worked in retail which was supposedly not a requirement in my first 2 interviews.
Its frowned upon if you live off-island as they want their employees to work closer to the office. They have an ‘unspoken rule’ to work overtime every day (read the other reviews). If you have young children, forget about it. Their ‘target hire’ is very young, lives nearby, has no kids, and willing work 50-60 hour weeks, (also retail experience).
