I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Amsterdam) in Aug 2020
Interview
First, I had an interview with Eva Slager, where we got to know each other. After that, I had an interview with Michelle and Jetse about the position. They gave me information about the position and we shared information about ourselves. The last interview was with Mark, he told me about a day at the office and we played a roll game.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lightspeed (Montreal, QC) in Aug 2020
Interview
It was a marathon, but everything was organized and detailed from the initial reach out to the final interview. I was given an overview of the company by Florence who really got me excited about the role. I then had the chance to interview with members of the team that would ultimately be dotted lines, subordinates or managers if I were to get the role. I'm ultimately disappointed I didn't get an offer because my experience and values aligned so well with the company and I felt the conversations with the team were genuine. You can tell they really take their time to find the right person for each role as everyone seemed to be top of their game both in craft and IRL.
