I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Miro in Jun 2022
Interview
Contacted on linkedin by a recruiter, got a cold screening. Then got a live coding challenge was quite hard (I go offers from Spotify Meta and Amazon and this challenge was harder)
I dont recommend such company that judge only on one live hard coding challenge and reject you if you don't finish the exercise (even if you give them the final solution)
The CS team seems to be very competent and friendly, however the interview experience wasn't really positive overall. 5 rounds of interview including a time demanding case study that takes you 4-6 hours to prepare.
It felt that in every stage of the interview with different people the discussion was focusing only on one area of interest, which is by no question important for the role but by no means the only required sklill. Moreover, exactly this topic was thoroughly covered already during the demanding case study. Also one interview round felt like an outdated HR process with an employee literally reading the questions out of a questionnaire. This was supposed to be the culture interview round where you get to know the team but failed to be lile this.
Very little focus on several aspects of the personality, motivation and attitude of the candidate.
Poor communication of the decision, just sending a template rejection email by a noreply email address.
