Salesforce Program Manager interview questions

The interview process went well the Recruiter was quick and asked for all the details well in advance. First-round was set for the Hiring manager & I got a reply within hours that the interview was successful. followed by 2 1-1 interviews with different teams, and a panel discussion with 2 members was arranged in a week's time. all successfully cleared. I enquired for when to hear back the Recruiter told by next Monday ( a weeks time). And I heard. back from the Rec that they are moving with another candidate. I would the team was very polite and engaging But not pretty sure why was I not considered.
