Prior experience in IT, prior experience in sales, fairly standard stuff from an interview standpoint. Issue is it is positioned as a 70-90k a year in bonus with a very low salary but they make it sound like being between 90-120% of quota is easy, far from it- More than half the sales team is below 50% of quota each month. In a given year your may see 70% of your team turnover. No reason to bring in any family photos to the office, no one is even going to worry to much about your name.

Couldn't hear question, toolbox manager was taking the call from the sales floor, complete with Gong banging and what sounded like an inbound customer service call center. Hands down the most unprofessional interview I've ever had past first round. The fact that this happened with a decision maker is embarassing for them. MANAGEMENT: Having a grumpy inside sales manager try to interview and hire regional senior reps isn't a good idea. Inside sales and outside sales/remote based sales are completely different animals.
