Pros

The benefits are the only thing this job has that is appealing.

Cons

Absolutely every employee stressed to the brim. THIS JOB IS NOT WORTH IT! If you would like to find any kind of happiness, Don’t work for Aldi.

Pros

The only thing this company has going is the medical insurance.

Cons

Everything else. This company used to be great to work for but now that they are remodeling the stores and trying to get away from the "discount" image, the employees are the ones paying for it. 10 cent raise, body destroying labor with minimal hours to do it in. Management spends most days leaving early or sitting in the office doung nothing. When they are on the floor, their faces are glued to their phones. More and more workload falls on the cashiers.

Pros

Energetic, fast paced environment. Close with coworkers and regular customers. Rarely boring as there is always something that needs done. Independence as associates have keys and their own cash drawer to count. Fun job if you like to stay moving and have retail experience.

Cons

They will try to work you to death. Physical injury is common and time off is frowned upon as there is little staff. You're expected to work while sick and injured unless you are hospitalized. As a full time employee you will work many hours and many days in a row without a day off. During your shift it is hard to get a break to use the restroom because the workload is too high. This is a dirty job and you will be covered in things like meat juice and mop water and your hands/nails get filthy if you don't wear gloves.
