      Incompetant management breeding an attitude of "the bare mininum will do"

      Pros

      A job where thinking for yourself is openly discouraged and where doing the bare minimum at all costs is the go to for all tasks

      Cons

      The attitude of the people in charge causes an apathy that seeps down to the colleagues. A culture of "do as I say not as I do" is rank throughout the superiority complexed management tiers.

      Friendly colleagues at our store.most of the staff are hard working colleagues.

      Cons

      Pay is one of the worst supermarkets.its getting harder and harder to work here .there is too much to do and never enough staff.a lot of the time you are asked to go home as they are constantly overspent on wages.they send checkout staff home and then every 5 minutes shopfloor staff are on and off the tills.its a nightmare .a lot of the time the mgrs change your rota but dont tell you so you either come in late or early because they forgot to tell you.too much work and not enough pay .not appriciated for the work you do but soon told off for petty things.too many young inexperianced section leaders

      I got paid right most of the time.

      Cons

      Illegal work practices forced down by management culture. Being contracted 37.5hrs a week but being made to work 50+per week. Not being supplied with appropriate work wear and PPE, or not being supplied with enough.
