Pros

Good pay, decent work hours

Cons

Constant fear of being laid off. Had a policy to fire the low performing 10% every year. Annual reviews are a highly political process having little to do with accomplishments, just perception.

Pros

Adobe is overall a great company and one that most people are very proud to work for, the brand itself is a door opener. The strategy decision made a few years ago has been an unqualified success. The products are market leading with major competitive advantage over other vendors which means that most opportunities in the digital marketing space will have Adobe at the table. Sales and marketing are not closely aligned but sales are supported by some of the best events in the market.

Cons

As with many enterprise sales roles making your number is purely down to the patch you are assigned, you have very little room to work outside of what you are given. Work/Life balance is good at Adobe but the UK office locations do not support a strong social side to working there and the teams could be much better structured to work together for the customer. As with many public companies growth targets and quota's are always increasing but comp plans get more restrictive, this does not encourage good feeling.

Pros

Good infrastructure + Employee share program + Company paid lunch + Extra curricular activities + Onsite gym + Table Tennis Hall

Cons

I worked for Adobe AGS for about two years and must say I had a worst experience to work with Adobe AGS. India AGS management especially women are pretty biased and if you don't behave like puppets as some young men are doing, you're gone. Big time bloody egoistic women's who're not worth to stay at Adobe. But it's surprising that organisations like Adobe who claim to be the best workplace in magazines are actually not at all paying any attention towards AGS management. These people are making you fools by showing fake CSAT numbers and other business metrics that are imperative for the overall business. While joining the company, I always thought of staying till retirement and contribute dedicatedly but must say grass is greener on the other side statement holds true for AGS. I'm quite familiar with your overall business model which I'm sure will give you lot of profits due to your complete transition to cloud but please get these foolish women's out of the system if you actually want to grow.
