Thanks for leaving a review! The work environment and benefits at ARM are fantastic, with my favorite being the 4-week sabbatical after every 4-years of service! Being in the Austin office myself, I think the food is above average compared to other company's that I've worked at, if they even had a cafeteria to begin with. Pros

Technically engaging, great colleagues, friendly and supportive atmosphere. Very limited/localized office politics! Lots of opportunities to learn and grow. Quick recognition for high contributing employees.

Cons

Poor salaries for fresh PhDs, compared to the market. PhD students better off applying for Experienced instead of Graduate positions. Rigid organization and structures, that limit cross division communication, collaboration and creativitiy, except at the most senior levels. Limited transparency on employee evaluation decisions - often line managers are not privy to decision making process of upper management, and thus cannot provide appropriate feedback.
