Pros
I cannot understand any of these reviews that deride Avanade as an employer. I have been at many consulting firms, and Avanade is the best by far. They are very transparent with their people and have really good leadership in place. The work is challenging, but not overly so. The people are great and the company culture is easily the most dynamic and engaging I have seen. We have great group activities and corporate's logistical and system support for travel, expenses, and client engagements are top-notch. I highly recommend working for Avanade. However, lazy and entitled people need not apply--they are pretty good at running your a** out the door (which the rest of us appreciate). I get job offers all the time that would pay more money, and I just honestly have no desire to ever leave such a great firm. Keep up the good work, guys!
Cons
With double digit growth year over year, the performance bonuses could be a little more generous. HR policies can be difficult to understand. The number of vacation days are very slim when compared to the hours that we work. Perhaps we could be more aggressive in our rates when pursuing direct sales (vs. indirect)
