      Pros

      Avanade invests greatly in college grads. You get a significant amount of training and you have the opportunity to learn a little bit of everything. You WILL travel this could be a pro or con. Extended benefits is also a great thing!

      Cons

      A lot of the time you will work on things you're not passionate about. Don't expect to be a specialized developer unless you're a Manager or above.

      Pros

      Full of smart and passionate people. Tons of chances to work on interesting projects in interesting places. For those that can advocate for themselves well there are serious career advancement opportunities, especially if you're interested in global relocation. Amazing office in Australia, Europe, Asia and South America. Company is deep into its transition from a pure technology player to a digital transformation organization. Highly collaborative and supportive organization....for the most part very egalitarian.

      Cons

      Can be difficult to learn how to navigate your career here. You must be able and willing to advocate for yourself and proactively seek out the work and professional relationships you want. It may not happen for you in 3-6 months. Many many all-star players which can make it difficult to stand out. However if you like working around people you can learn from then this is a good place.

      --Good training for new hires --Mostly nice people

      Cons

      There is very little support, especially if you're not in a Tier 1 city with its own office (most of the offices are just Accenture offices). If you're staffed on a project not in line with your skills, management will tell you you're lucky you're not on the bench with no attempt to help you, even if the project is abusing you. Most projects are through Accenture, so it can feel like you're working with them since the teams are Accenture-heavy. Very little communication about expectations and high turnover.
