Pros

Discounts on products is definitely a nice benefit and the environment was fun. The holiday season albeit crazy was fun and it was satisfying helping people out.

Cons

There wasnt much potential to grow. Training was pretty non existent and turnover was high. I felt we were not fairly paid for the hard worrk and dedication.

Pros

The benefits and opportunities at Best Buy are pretty good. For an hourly employee, you can join their Stock Program and get incredible discounts. You get to meet a lot of different people from a lot of different backgrounds. In addition, Best Buy does a great job at encouraging everyone to work as a "team." They have team meetings everyday before the store opens to make sure everyone is on the same page and aligned with the same goals. The work atmosphere can get hectic, but if you like a fast pace it becomes something to look forward to.

Cons

Their senior leadership seems to be incompetent. Things that happen don't happen for a reason and they don't seem very responsive to their employees requests, etc. The politics/tiers of leadership in Best Buy are thick and never-ending. A lot of bureaucracy. They don't do a lot of recognition for their employees and it is hard to stand out from everyone else.
