Pros

Getting paid substantially more than everyone who had already been working there 1 year+, chill laid-back environment, people are nice enough

Cons

The management and employees were so disorganized. From the moment I was hired I have had very little to no direction or training. I spent 3 days 4 hours each day watching training videos about how strict the company is and what to do if someone is treating a co-worker inappropriately etc. etc. and when I get onto the sales floor it is nothing like the environment I was expecting from the training videos. Everyone talks crap about everyone, no one would train me or help me, I would clock on and stand in one spot behind the customer service counter until my shift was up. There is no structure in this company. The employees made no effort to get to know me or build a relationship with me.

Pros

Great environment, nice benefits, great discount, good management. Everything you could expect working at Best Buy. Employees are awesome as well.

Cons

Haven't ran into any cons just yet. If I do however, I will definitely post it here. Hopefully I won't find one though.

Pros

5% Above Cost discount on various products through-out store. Accessories are probably one of these things that I benefitted from most. Insignia gets you a greater discount than most.

Cons

Management Consistency, Favoritism, I felt that once I arrived at Best Buy from when I first started I saw a huge turnover in the employees I started with. It was almost like if anybody thought outside of the box. People were set up to be terminated without explaining the policies to these employees. I personally was wrote up for something that I didn't initiate in a phone activation. Once I observed and remembered what was done I documented all my information. The Store Manager himself owed me an apology as I was set up due to a manager not liking me because I didn't sell services I didn't believe in myself. Later found this out and opted out of their department and bided my time until I could find something that I could receive benefits and a full time status.
