      The people I met are the only pro.

      Cons

      Management was toxic, corporate did nothing about it even after multiple complaints from different employees and stores. The current CEO is moving everything online and killing the physical stores

      Pros

      Like most jobs, your experience will really depend on your management and your team. Fun environment where there is always something new to learn. A wide variety of functions can make your day interesting. I’ve heard full-time has decent benefits but don’t have any experience as I am part time.

      Cons

      Credit card and membership pushing can be absolutely draining. Hard to balance good experience and service with the constant push to reach certain goals. Customers are told to expect a premium experience and expert advise but we are no longer trained to provide this. There’s of course the usual complaints that come with retail, but with the more competitive environment it adds that extra layer of pressure that can make or break your career with best buy.

      Experience. Looks good on resume. You learn a ton of stuff on the job. Don't worry if you feel like you don't know something.

      Cons

      Over worked, under paid. To work at geek squad, you literally know how to work at every department. You do shipping, warehouse, troubleshooting, selling and checkout and returns. You do everything, if not more than any department.
