Pros

You will have a lot of resources to get better at selling things. Best Buy has an amazing system of online learnings you can use to gain knowledge about anything they sell.

Cons

If your managers are bad, you will hate this place. So much of the day to day requires the managers to be on point. You can usually tell when the store isn’t run well.

Pros

Great Discount Plenty of opportunities for hands on experience

Cons

Plenty of times you’ll know exactly what needs to be done in order to help a client but because of Bestbuy’s service contracts you are forbidden from doing so, which leads to an angry client, which leads to a bad survey, which leads to a bad survey score. And then corporate has the nerve to ask why your store’s score is so low when the 1800 number is constantly setting incorrect expectations for clients.
