Pros

Average retail experience, very good for college students who are there to make a quick paycheck.

Cons

Due to a contract made with Citibank, Best Buy will be forced to pay a penalty if not enough credit cards are signed for. While this may depend on location, sales people who lie about what the credit card offers are not a rare sight due to the favoritism that managers who profit off a good signup rate will show to them. I personally could barely stomach it so I left and reported those corrupt salespeople to CFPB.

Pros

Its better to work here than doing a labour job, company gives part time benefits like insurance after 6 months

Cons

Compensation is too low, just the basic minimum set by Government. The amount of work that is expected is way beyond the pay grade. It's totally unfair to expect technical work of the highest standard when pay scale is bare minimum.

Cons

Have to sell credit cards and best buy plans but do not get paid extra for doing so.
