We also know that being at Bitpanda means that this isn’t your typical corporate 9-to-5 and that our Pandas go above and beyond to keep raising the bar. This is why the recent news especially hurt, as it means that we’ve had to let go of some of the best out there. But, because we strongly believe in having a fully open, honest and transparent environment and are committed to doing things the right way, not the easy way, we wanted to ensure that this tough news was delivered as transparently as possible. However, regrettably, due to legal restrictions, we couldn’t communicate it in the most personal way that we would have liked to. As we watched the world events and market conditions intently, hopeful for a turnaround, unfortunately, we had to be realistic and reassess our strategy. Therefore, we made this difficult decision to ensure that we are fully weather-proofed to navigate the current storm in the market and get out of it financially healthy to continue our mission. We understand that times like these can make the future look uncertain. However, we want to assure you that these one-time-only measures will not affect the growth opportunities we have always given our Pandas. We are fully committed to ensuring that being here remains the best investment in yourself and that Bitpanda is an equitable workplace for all. After all, we know that the growth of our talented folks on the Bitpanda bus will mean we’ll be ahead of the curve to provide new products and services and help make investing accessible to everyone.

Hi former Panda — We’re happy to hear that you enjoyed working alongside your fellow Pandas in our new Vienna HQ and benefited from our hybrid working policy! At Bitpanda, our DNA reflects the incredible culture we’ve built together with our Pandas. We do our very best to ensure that everyone on our rocketship lives and breathes each of them to make this an open, honest and fully transparent workplace. When it comes to Radical Candor, we always strive to practice what we preach and give everyone here the ability to share their open and honest feedback. This is why we regularly give all our Pandas the opportunity to share what’s working well and where we need to improve in our completely anonymous Employee Voice Survey. Our dedicated People Team is also always on hand to provide confidential help and support whenever needed. Because the sector we operate in is rapidly changing, we have to move at a very fast pace (think building the rocketship while flying it!).
