Pros

BA is an iconic brand that's built on a team of smart, hard-working and incredibly loyal people. Airlines are always interesting places to work, after all this is a complex product to create, market and deliver. Better still your friends will be genuinely fascinated in your work (albeit with their own crop of lost baggage stories).

Cons

The team loyalty has also created a tenured environment which can feel entitled and sometimes out of touch with realities of the market. The strong belief in the brand is a great asset but it breeds a certain arrogance which can be dangerous to any business. Finally, expect a tough few months at the start- everyone seems to know everyone else except you!

They didnt tell me it was for a "temp" position so for the 2 months it took to do a backround check on me... YES 2 MONTHS i couldve persued other options

BULLYING is the infrastructure now

Business class ticket/ year after 5 years of service (you still pay taxes though). Good health insurance. Good school to learn customer service skills and basics.

Cons

Bullying is the foundation (started in 2010, thanks to Willie Walsh). The target is to have a high turnover before employees become too expensive through annual increase.
