Pros

Staff travel benefits. Good contractual terms thanks to trade unions. Ok pension. Generally attracts good people in terms of front line employees and up to middle management.

Cons

Senior management, leadership and directors are largely corrupt. Very toxic environment where bullying and harassment are rife. Fear mongering is common.

Pros

Good at training people. Staff travel potential benefits are Good, if you can get on flights or flights are actually running.

Cons

Baggage and I.T issues, crew, ground, engineering staff shortages, etc. Leadership team has been very good at blaming Covid for its problems but used it at the same time for the company's long term benefit. Treated staff appallingly from the beginning of the lock down, threatening to make redundant 35,000 people and bring them back on poor wages and stripped down contracts (all this while the government was providing furlough). Only stopped due to unions raising public awareness and causing a public backlash (well done unions). They still managed to frighten/pressure 1000's of staff into leaving and 1000's more to have pay, terms and conditions cut. Staff morale at floor level. As you can see not a particularly nice company below the polished social media surface.
