Pros

Pay not bad and some decent t benefits. Virtual first approach to working.

Cons

Another company who is let down by absolutely appalling leadership. The worst I have seen. People pretending to be busy who don't communicate with their teams, don't know how to set direction and cant motivate. They are simply bought in by their friends and they in turn employ their friends....and family without any prior experience!! This is happening in 2023/2024!!

Pros

I worked from home for Capita for Tesco Mobile as a customer service representative. I left here last year and they make it so hard to figure out what they owe you as they mess you around and send you stuff that makes no sense or not what your actually asking them to send you on purpose so you cannot figure out what they owe you. Honestly they did not pay me for the majority of the overtime I did after I left. They still owe me quite a bit of money over 1k I believe but can't figure it out without the information they have but im sure its around that. They just are literally the pinnacle of modern day slavery. If i knew i wasnt getting paid I would not have done the extra hours which were like 12hr 13hr shifts. If you work for them check your pay constantly they will do you over they do not care. This company is honestly and disgusting. They also leave you to your own devices dont help you at all and discriminate against people with disabilities. They bully, pick favourites. Dont believe whatever they tell you to get you to work for them its all rubish. Turnover rate is extremely high. Hmm wonder why that might be eh ha. Avoid avoid avoid at all costs. If i could give them minus stars I would. Would never reccomend them to anyone. Honestly avoid.

Pros

Working from home The 5 week initial training is enjoyable There is support to be utilised

Whilst the training is enjoyable it doesn't really prepare you for the role. You're given unrealistic targets to meet when you are still learning the role Feedback is inconsistent. You could write two identical reports and one could be "Acceptable" the other "Unacceptable" Your professional judgement counts for nothing. You can write a so called Acceptable report and the DWP can still find a problem with it. Your manager doesn't have a clue what your role entails as they haven't done it themselves. No consideration is given to the fact that it'll take longer to assess and write the report of someone who has say 5 conditions and someone who has one condition It's can be isolating Feedback can be harsh to read.
