Pros

Money available for people prepared to demonstrate that they are indispensable. Big and complex projects provide room to grow as a technical professional as there will always be problems to solve if you put your mind to it. Don't expect any recognition for this however.

Cons

Teams are divided by an impenetrable wall of managers. All the business' clerical functions such as payroll are disorganised, pitifully slow and poorly communicated. Roles and responsibilities are poorly-defined and warnings about lack of direction are ignored.

Cons

High staff turn around Lack of business wide system knowledge Pay is well below countries average Too much management Not enough permanent staff, lots of contractors. Everyone scared of one particular person in Management (wrong style of management)

Good Opportunity to work on big clients. Opportunity to work with some very talented people. Trainings Always keep you on Toes.

Cons

Too much Politics and clash of personalities. Employees are treated as numbers. No Benefits at lower level. Less Salaries. Poor employee retention. Complicated structure, its always very difficult to contact someone with in the company. Specially IT support. Everything is divided in business units and needs lot of signoffs for little thing. Which actually slows down the things.
