Pros

Online training was great. I actually miss it still. You could learn about anything you wanted, and I took full advantage of that. Good vacation and personal time off package for my position. Ability to work from home. The company has a good name so it wasn't too difficult to jump to a competent FI. Global footprint theoretically allows you to move anywhere. I'm not sure how many people actually do this though.

Cons

-High school like atmosphere. -Generally disinterested, absent and self promoting management -Not a meritocracy, even though they say they are. -GTS is a joke, no opportunity for growth. Too much focus on expenses has damaged staff morale severely. -Poor cafeteria (Buffalo location) -HR is nonexistent when you need them, actually always nonexistent except for email reminders about dress code constantly. Unwilling to help employees.

Pros

The only reason I stayed for few months was because I needed a big company's name on my resume.

Cons

I had to sit in a lab with about 40 other people. The manager never came to the lab to ask how we were doing. An another contractor (who was our team lead) only came down at lunch time or 5pm to ask us how many scripts were done. QA is about testing quality of the software, instead they only cared about how many test cases (scripts) were done in a day. The team lead never showed any respect. He used to give us work at lunch time or at 5pm and told us to complete it at the end of the day without paying for overtime. Some of us used to just leave because we never got paid for overtime. It felt like I was working in a call center in India.

Horrible place to work for women

Pros

The pay is the only reason someone should subject themselves to the horrible work environment.

Cons

There are very few promotions of women and most women who work with mostly men are treated horribly. Horrible job well done recognition. Good luck finding a fair manager to work for.
