Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased that you were happy with your pay and the 30% colleague member discount. We're sorry that you feel that your recruitment experience was not up to standard. If you have had an interview, whether you are an internal candidate or external, we recommend speaking to the hiring manager for feedback. If you feel that our central recruitment team have not communicated well with you or you have constructive feedback for us, please get in touch at retailcareers.co.uk so we can look into this for you.

Pros

The only positive was gaining some retail experience and interacting with customers. It taught me to work under pressure

Cons

The management was consistently poor, with the store always being understaffed, making it impossible to manage a large store with just two employees. The expectations were highly unrealistic, as I was often running around trying to complete tasks, yet still received constant negative feedback from the manager and team leader to work faster. The workload was overwhelming, and the environment became extremely exhausting, both physically and mentally. It felt like no matter how much effort I put in, it was never enough. Overall, the experience was highly demotivating

Pros

Over the time you can develop great relations with customers.

Cons

The company doesn't care about employees. They are Mind ambassadors but I developed depression and anxiety working there. The company cuts on hours and there is not enough of people on shifts. You have to work in 2 people on shift, one which is at the back. Very dangerous. Higher management is awful. Problems are being swept under the carpet. Verbal abuse. Mobbing. You name it it's there.
