Pros

You get to work from home. Growth Opportunity I will note that I would recommend to a friend just for the fact that I think these issues just lay in the LOB I work on. There are a ton of growth opportunities and pay is not bad for an agent at the entry level.

Cons

Poor Operations leadership. Lack of communication all the way around. It is like pulling teeth to get my Manager to correct something, even though they hold the control and it is their job and I am left to explain why something hasn't been corrected. Favoritism is huge. It's all about who you know and who you grew up with. They do not put qualified people in leadership positions based on my experience. I am salary, but to get everything completed and plus do the job of my Manager since "they" know nothing about the actual LOB they manage or they just don't feel like doing it or they are to0 busy, I still end up working over 65 hours a week. Break that down I am basically making 12.14 an hour max. I love what my role stands for, but my job would be a lot more manageable if my leadership did theirs.

Pros

Working from home and seeing the sun set from my window.

Cons

Team Managers are horrible to the agents. Poor training, team managers talk down to agents, always accusing agents that they are doing what's called "call avoidance," when 99% of the time the tools are not working. Training is not enough, and then you are fed to the wild, and you still don't get the support you need. There is what is called SME's and they do the same thing as a voice specialist, but assist in the chat room by answering questions. The SME's are very abusive and mistreat us agents. Terrible, the worst place to ever work.
