Here are just a few magic moments i experienced when working for OnStar:
- The payroll will pull a magic lever to display how much money they will take away from your salary every month. It's like a slot machine that you play every month but every time you play you lose a different amount of money.
- Your schedule will be organized with such precision and finesse that you won't be able to stop yourself from chuckling before falling into a deep depression. Whether it be a starting schedule of 2pm on monday followed by a 10am start on tuesday and to finish you off a 4am on a wednesday, or a lovely 4am start on saturday and an incredible finish of the week on sunday, at 4:45am. Sleeping is a privilege and if you work for OnStar, a privilege that will be taken away by the Gods Of Olympus ( Workforce Management).
- Lucky for you, your vacation will be denied on most occasions so you don't have to see your loved ones. Who needs family or friends anyway when you have OnStar right? Booked your vacation 6 months in advance? Don't worry, your vacation will get removed due to lack of coverage. Bought the plane ticket already? That's too bad, but don't worry, you get to spend your days in a dirty office with other frustrated people that got their vacations denied! You'll have so much in common!
- The lovely management at OnStar can only be compared to hurricane Katrina however the damage they do is more mental than anything else. You get to see someone that can't even manage himself or his drug addiction trying to manage a company of over 100 people. It's the best!
In conclusion i would just like to say that OnStar Europe is like Narnia, once you open that door you are in a whole different world filled with mythical beings and wonder. If you still want to work here then don't forget to put some money aside each month because you will need it to pay for a psychiatrist. Good luck.
