Technical support tier 1: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Brisbane
Pros
The 1 hour lunch break is literally the only good thing about the job. You get better treatment from supervisors at McDonald's or KFC! The training was ok, although it only prepares you for literally 10% of the role requirements.
Cons
I don't even know where to start... One of the reviews on here states that this place isn't good for high achievers and I can totally see why! Despite the abundance of bad reviews I accepted the job with an open mind. I've been with the company almost a month now and the sheer incompetence of every staff member is rife. No acknowledgement of good performance, constant belittling by management and an extreme level of unprofessionalism; there's name calling, high-school gossiping and sheer immaturity amongst the 400 or so staff at the Brisbane site. It's like the place is run by monkeys! Run for the hills from this company! It's no wonder that up to 60 people are hired all at once and as little as 4 people from a group remain, this company has an extreme high turn over and it's easy to see why. Oh and on top of all that crap, it's quite easily the lowest paid "technical support" job you'll ever see... for under $20 an hour it's a joke with what you put up with and not worth getting out of bed for. If you manage to survive here I bow down to you!!!!
