Pros

1. Local management team is supportive 2. The people is what makes the culture here. People in every department are all very talented and always willing to help and share. 3. Professional and personal development budget is provided 4. Work from home policy is great 5. Collaborative culture and great bunch of talented hardworking employees have no problem delivering top quality products efficiently 6. Projects are meaningful and interesting and have been winning awards. 7. Secondment in other offices

Cons

1. Salary is below the market average for most roles besides the global management. 2. Promised salary increment was frozen in March due to Covid, there wasn’t any 1 to 1 discussion about the percentage of increase or the new salary figure between March to August until a week before month end. Employees are expected to accept the new salary without negotiation even though they said negotiation would be part of the process but it wasn’t. The employees happen to be the one driving this conversations instead of the management. The impact of the lack of salary related conversations has caused talented people to leave the company which has been a common pattern for a while. 3. Since Concentrix acquired Tigerspike, there has been a continuous nudge to cut costs even as small as removing cookies from the office pantry. That sort of cut cost technique isn’t smart. It also affects the morale and culture of the company amidst other sorts of cut cost techniques. Especially when tigerspike is doing really well financially even during Covid. 4. There is a lack of transparency regarding salary bands. 5. Important news regarding company changes in Tigerspike & Concentrtix are announced at the very last minute via an email from the CEO.

Not a great place

Pros

- Friday bbq - Free fitness Bootcamp - Opportunity to work in other countries - Personal + Professional development budget - Most people are friendly

Cons

- Salary: TS pay lower than industry rates and trying to get a pay raise for hard work is a painful task. You will constantly be given the run around and told to 'wait a bit longer'. People complain about it all the time but the situation never seemed to change. - Long hours: It was normal to see people staying back until 7-8pm to finish their project work and it seemed to be almost accepted as a normal thing by the company. ie no action seemed to be taken to ensure people were out of the office at a healthy time . - Poor career development : Little to no mentoring of junior devs. Not much in the way of passionate tech leads/seniors advocating new and exciting tech for the teams to use. Every project seemed like a case of the 'same old same old' to meet deadlines. Felt like tech leads were more busy in meetings with clients than actually tech leading.

Pros

Work from home position. If you need a job to fill in your finances until you get a better opportunity.

Cons

From the start the recruiters will tell you about bonus and compensation that does not exist.... I was told there was a commission package and after being with the company for x amount of time I would have a review and raise based on performance. I have now been with the company for 10 months and was recently told there are no reviews and raises. Low Pay, you must make sure they are paying your state minimum because they will give only $10per hour unless you bring this to their attention and theres constant payroll errors they don't fix until the next pay period so to bad so sad if you have bills to pay...W2's are issued incorrectly just to get them out by IRS deadline and to buy company more time to obtain state tax id numbers and needed information to issue corrected W2..... As an employee you have no support, if something goes wrong with the system to bad so sad your out of work until they get around to sending another and you will not be compensated for the time you were out due to their systems. You are not allowed to directly speak to HR or payroll. Company has no shame in being dishonest with employees and not taking responsibility for issues that arise.
