Pros

Good benefits, 401k and flexible work hours, if you have a decent manager, willing to work with you. Decent vacation/personal time.

Cons

Need better pay and managers that don't look the other way. While some employees get away with doing absolutely nothing, the ones who are there everyday get burned out by getting too much piled on them.

Pros

Global company with the possibility for growth if you are self motivated. Many different departments allowing for possible career changes.

Cons

Management at times is disconnected. Key team members are overworked while others are not relied upon at all. Easy to get caught up in too man random miscellaneous tasks due to clear and concise direction from direct management.

Pros

Some of the industry's best and brightest are attracted to DGF. I have known a lot of great people to put their hearts into their jobs, are extremely devoted and passionate about their roles at DGF. This is truly remarkable. The corporate values, strategy and pillars of growth, GoGreen, GoHelp, GoTeach, are all sound great and are easy to get behind.

Cons

Especially in the US, the company is talking a lot about management being "transformational"; unfortunately, it is more "transactional", doing what it takes just to get by. There are a lot of managers in the deeply entrenched hierarchy at DGF, and many do not have enough time to manage people, teams and situations well, partly because they are tasked to manage projects, initiatives, and processes as priority. DGF is spread very thin, from years of reorganizations, reductions and cost saving measures. It is sad to see good talent become disengaged, and more vocal about feelings of distrust, anxiety and fear.
