Pros

They'll hire just about anyone if you can past a drug test, and are a "reasonably competent" individual.

Cons

Low paying job with absurd rules, high turnover rate, low employee support/benefits, high expectations, poor structure and leadership, lack of true advancement and career development,...etc.

Pros

Pay and opportunity are decent

Cons

Managers are the most self-important, unprofessional people I ever met. As long as you kiss butt, you are safe. Keep your ideas to yourself. FULL of RED TAPE and rigid regulations where there doesnt need to be any. NOT a healthy place

Pros

Tuition Reimbursement, lots of food - agents, airlines, and DHL buys food for everyone very often. They don't care if you are a couple of minutes late, you can go in early or late, (don't expect to leave early though).

Cons

Overworked! Expect to work 10 hours a day at least, and be forced to come in on Saturdays. There is absolutely no training going on, its always "look at the last job" and then yelling at you for not doing right what you didn't know how to do in the first place. The office supervisor absolutely does not care about the law, regulations, or ethics, she only cares about getting the cargo out as fast as inhumanly possible, and save as much money as possible, but it always backfires. She is constantly flaunting the rules, tells the team to lie when filing export declarations, or just pass DG cargo to avoid delays even though it shouldn't move. She doesn't care about what happens after the cargo she just wants it out of her hair. The warehouse supervisor is too busy fighting with everyone in the office to actually help the warehouse team, and constantly lies to the station manager to paint a rosy picture of the operations.
