Very smart people to work with Encourages work-from-home For those who travel, a decently liberal travel policy Decent work/life balance

Cons

Dell CULTure is infecting the EMC culture. Given that EMC itself had a strange culture, it was still a company people loved, both employees and, clearly, enterprise customers. With the Dell merger it is all going in a terribly wrong direction because the Dell CULTure is truly an infection that'll take a gold standard enterprise company and turn it into the "race-to-the-bottom" box slinger, like Dell has always been. Also, it is very clear the debt is taking a toll on the company, so it creates an uneasy atmosphere.

The only thing is that those Pros do not exist. If you are a remote worker, don't expect a raise, promotion, or the ability to move internally within the company. As for WLB, with all the layoffs, that is a very distant dream. People leave, but the work gets piled up on those who remain.

Originally great culture, team, people and management. Benefits were on par with other tech companies.

Cons

Post Covid costs and expenses made it difficult to operate global sales functions in similar manner to pre 2020. Client relationships suffered. Dell not as innovative as in the past - being surpassed by more nimble and innovative technologies. A laser focus on higher margin storage business to the detriment of client/server - and playing "Catch Up" in the cloud space. Eventually the culture shift and change to penny pinching impacting core sales teams while SVP and Exec's continued to cash in.
