Pros

The licensing training program was good

Cons

Despite the company promoting " how friendly/ welcoming their company culture is", the manager I had was racist and unprofessional and I had to report HIM AND FIDELITY to EESO. They also brainwash you into thinking you are some sort of "financial professional" --this is just a call center job... Believe every single negative review you see here cuz they are true!!! If you like to work at a Cult--this is the place for you!

Pros

Generally a good place to work. Decent pay. Great benefits. Relatively high UX maturity. Out of the hundreds of people I've met and worked with, there are only a handful that I wouldn't want to work with again, which I think says a lot.

Cons

D&I efforts are limited and often just checking boxes. Win awards for employing women, but is still very much dominated by men. Very cheap regarding training and conferences. Once you've been there a while, your pay becomes less and less competitive with the market. Performance is competitive (only certain percentage can be at top), which hurts collaboration and is demoralizing when you do great work and aren't recognized for it.

Pros

If clients are nasty and offensive on the phone, Fidelity will discontinue business with them regardless of their assets held. Fidelity has their employees' backs. I appreciate that. Great benefits, work from home 3 out of 4 weeks a month, lots of paid breaks. Amazing opportunities for advancement - I've already received a promotion to a higher paying job and I'm only a month out of training. By the way - I had October-June training. Paid! Mostly from home! It's unheard of. I appreciated it immensely. Tons of support and resources.

Cons

So far, none! I've been there for 10 months so far - I'm treated fairly and the job is great for someone like me who enjoys talking on the phone.
