Avoid at all costs - miserable people led by blind CEO

Pros

You can get discounted electronics (refurbished sometimes).

Cons

Cost cutting of US work force for India. They have let go of all the good engineers and scramble when projects the engineers were working on suddenly go into crisis. Poor executive management that needs pinches pennies on individual contributors but fly half way around the world for a "meeting" . Poor company wide organization. Executives lead through fear - if you don't play ball or drink the Kool-aid then don't bother coming to work. CEO makes blind decisions and has blatantly lied in the press twice.

Pros

- Samsung Products & JBL Products on Discount - Free Tea & Coffee - No formals -

Cons

- My sincere advice to the experienced guys is to stay away with this company. After joining you will repent. This is 100% genuine review by a very experienced guy. - If you have worked in Top IT companies you will feel suffocated within a Month. - No Process & No Knowledge Transfer Process for New Joinees. Work is directly dumped and you are expected to some how complete it. - Clients Shout at you at their will as you are their servants. - Your are expected to work on weekends and also late nights - Expect call in the late nights - Attiration rate is very high . people just join and get fed up and leave within 6 months - Managers / Directors start to advice ( force )you to shift near Office - Managers Shouts at you and have no decency - No Work Life Balance - No Free Insurance (You have to pay 500 rs monthly) - Cabs are very costly (Ranges from 3000 - 5000) depending on distance - Feels like a startup with a brand name and fully chaotic - Sub standard Infrastructure and the Cafeteria that leaks during monsoons - No Good Cafeteria - Cost Cutting in Full Swing ( Removed the Free meals in afternoon and hiked cab rates, Removed Free Insurance) - Managers Just want people who work like Donkeys and nothing else - Substandard Food in cafeteria - I have seen a Manager who come drunk to office and HR doesnt have the guts to fire him even after knowing he is drunk while in office as he works like a donkey and will always be in office until late night. - No Bench Policy. If your are released from project you have to start looking outside. - Last time During Jan - July 2018 there was no Variable pay for some GOC (Business Units) saying that the performance of their units were not upto mark.

Pros

Great perks, brand heritage, and innovative culture. Now a sweat shop with very low moral.....it has only become much worse over time.

Cons

Pathetic Executive Management and cut throat culture. Weak product quality and unable to meet program milestones. Apple and Google are well on the path to making Harman solutions completely irrelevant.
