Pros

Competitive salaries. Remote work. Depending on the different teams you may find trust and independency. Constant salary and market reviews.

Cons

Some leaders will not care about your motivations or extra efforts you are doing. Tech debts will be always created and will be never paid even when it slows down the team at some point, you will have to work to have MVPs ready ASAP but will be hard to push to iterate improve the version (Because it will not genera revenue directly). Some leaders have high ego. So most of the wellness depends on the leader (If you are lucky you could end up having a good time there with some of the great leaders the company has).

Working at Hopper was an incredibly disheartening experience that I wouldn't wish upon anyone. From the moment I joined the company, it became evident that ethical practices and employee well-being were not a priority. First and foremost, the company's approach to business was unethical. Hopper consistently put profits above everything else, including the welfare of its customers. The pressure to meet unrealistic targets and push questionable products on unsuspecting users was relentless. It seemed like Hopper was more interested in making a quick buck than in providing a genuinely valuable service. Moreover, the company's leadership displayed an alarming level of ego and arrogance. Communication was top-down, with executives rarely bothering to listen to the concerns or ideas of their subordinates. Dissenting voices were quickly shut down, and there was an overall lack of respect for differing opinions. It felt like the management team saw themselves as infallible and refused to acknowledge their mistakes. The product itself was a major letdown. Despite the hype surrounding Hopper's services, the reality fell far short of expectations. The platform was riddled with bugs and technical issues, which were often brushed aside or downplayed by management. It was frustrating to see the company prioritize flashy marketing campaigns over addressing the glaring flaws in the product. Hopper seemed more interested in attracting new customers than in delivering a reliable and user-friendly experience. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of working at Hopper was the complete lack of loyalty to its employees. Layoffs were a regular occurrence, and the company had no qualms about letting go of dedicated team members at a moment's notice. There was no sense of job security, and the constant fear of being shown the door created a toxic and stressful work environment. Hopper's disregard for its employees' well-being was evident, as the company failed to provide adequate support or professional growth opportunities. Given my experience, I strongly advise against considering a job at Hopper. The company's unethical practices, egotistical leadership, subpar product, and lack of loyalty to employees make it a profoundly disappointing and unsatisfying place to work. Save yourself the frustration and heartache—look elsewhere for employment opportunities.
