      In a time of recession surely is a good choice as US cos are on downside and Asian emerging.

      Pros

      If you are a work alcoholic, join huawei. Don't expect complex work. There would easy work but loads of it. Performance is recognized, but only in terms of how many hours do you spend in the office. One good reason would be to stay with an Asian company with a fast emerging domain(telecom), They are capturing all the 3rd world country markets, with there economical equipment and products and end to end solutions.

      Cons

      Compromise Quality, go with quantity. Salary would not be so great, but still better than many other Asian companies.

      Pros

      It has the best environment for learning core systems development and hands on experience. I got oppurtinities to travel a lot as a S.E. and good place to work overall. will get chance to work on real time systems, bla bla bla The team in which you are put in matters a lot, you will enjoy or will get screwed.

      Cons

      Need to hogg sometime, does not recognize the hard work done with titles. but pay is good. will have less personal life. need to work atleast 9pm to 9pm every day huuuh hate that.. too much restrictions on print quota

      Pros

      Numerable Opportunities for career advancement. Few Really great people who have driven the organization. Quick to react to the market situations. Highly responsive to the customer. The beginners especially are provided with great exposure.

      Cons

      Inability to retain the best talent. Inability to attract the best talent. Almost impossible to balance work and personal life. Employer's insensitivity towards employees' lack of personal time. Distrust of the employees in general. Employees do not feel empowered. The Huawei Brand is not well managed in general. Incompetent marketing department. Incompetent senior management in some cases.
