Pros

Idt has some great and talented staff in London office with a very knowledgeable and experienced European management team. Nice London office and great company benifits

Cons

Constant fear for your job. I mean constant. Since I been employed there have been redundancies at end of every financial year to compensate for falling profits of flagship boss rev product. To improve bottom line the staff are first to go with redundant employees responsibilities been shoved to other staff. This all public knowledge, just look at companies public financial figures to verify. Very elitist culture at senior management specifically US board.. Zero career opportunities, culture very much with view that you should be happy that you still have a job let alone promotion.

Stressful work environment/Poor management

Pros

The people, the actual workers, are some of the best people around. They are hard-working, dedicated, and make the work environment fun and entertaining. The company used to recognize hard work and dedication with salary increases and bonuses.

Cons

The company cares nothing about dedication and hard work anymore. They always look to nickel & dime their employees by applying salary cuts and firing those with the highest salaries, regardless of their dedication, work and past contributions. They will fire many valuable and hard-working employees just so upper management can continue to receive generous salaries and bonuses. The work of the terminated employees gets divided among many other current employees with already full schedules, and often to employees in several different departments. This creates a very stressful and uneasy work environment.

Pros

Competitive Salary. Comprehensive Benefits: Medical insurance, gym reimbursement, and English language lessons.

Cons

Abysmal Onboarding: No structured training. Manager explicitly stated, "I won’t teach you – you’re not an intern," expecting self-taught mastery of outdated documentation. Unrealistic Expectations: Criticized for not finding bugs in smoke tests within days of joining, despite being new to the project. Manager demanded "indispensable" contributions in 2 weeks. Micromanagement: Mandatory daily Slack status updates. Chaotic Workflows: Daily "30-minute" meetings dragging to 1 hour with 20+ attendees. Lack of Resources: Critical testing equipment withheld for weeks, blocking core app functionality. Outdated Processes: many of test cases obsolete, documentation unreliable.
