Pros

Work from home, good salary, good work life balance, good coworkers.

Cons

I worked for IQVIA as a CTA for about a year and a half. It was fantastic and decided to become a CRA. After a year of being a CRA, they decided to fire me for an SOP violation I had when I was three months into my CTA role, AFTER my promotion and three raises. I had a minor misdemeanor. I paid a fine and never did jail time or otherwise. It did not affect the company at all. I had good metrics and was a good worker, yet they fired me for not informing HR of the misdemeanor. Right before the holidays too.

Pros

Working with some talented individuals. Benefits are decent.

Cons

1. Pay does not match the hours needed - and bonuses are even worse. Feedback is always "you should be thankful to have a job." Management is also keen on holding individuals back. 2. Critically understaffed across info/data (Xponent, LAAD, NPA, Client Information Managers, Product Management, Operations). All you have time to do is run from fire to fire. 3. Info Solutions Management takes credit for the work done by the teams and their managers/directors. They do not give credit to others - only those who are "favorites." They do not take feedback - at all - and are not open to alternative ways of completing something. 4. There is no investment or innovation. Very antiquated. 5. Sales dumps their work and is never held responsible. Poor sales management decisions have led to an exodus of skilled people. 6. Once Info Solutions leadership has an opinion of someone, it is not able to be changed. They are branded for their entire tenure (unless they escape Info Solutions).

Pros

If you have a passion for coding, are looking for a data-oriented role, and are competitive this could be for you. Good work-life balance

Cons

Horrible practice lead. Was extremely rude to me during the layoff process and made me feel completely discarded. If you're looking for the Mckinsey of life science consulting, then this place is for you. It was an extremely competitive, cliquey, and "favoritism" environment. During the first 6 months of my job there, they made it very clear who was doing well and who wasn't, giving out cash-based awards for employees doing well on their projects and announcing them in front of the whole practice. During onboarding training, coworkers were extremely competitive and didn't help one another understand how to use the data analyses and code. I was told going into this job that SQL would be involved, not that it would be the majority of my work. If you're looking for strategy consulting, then look for another company. The Majority of the practice is under 30 so if you're looking for good career role models this isn't the place. Consulting is about "people skills" but I have never worked with such immature, unwelcoming, and socially inept people. In-office culture feels like a college library, not a corporate office.
