      Pros

      All the people I've worked with at Lightspeed are fantastic. Driven, intelligent, great teams, great mid-level leadership. Accommodating managers and team leads who help you progress in the company, competent coworkers, good collaboration between departments The focus on the work is good. You won't be doing time wasting projects. You will be given opportunities to prove yourself

      Cons

      Really the pay. Either your in sales where the majority of your pay is commissions (and you can make decent money but take on a lot of stress) or you're not in sales and the money is mediocre at best to insulting. They fail to pay a competitive salary while hiring many new employees at the same time.

      This week it was my 3 year Lightspeed anniversary and I guess it's a great time to share my review. Lightspeed is a great place, the place where you can try new roles and responsibilities. The place where you can find not just colleagues but friends The place were your voice will be heard

      Cons

      - Long hours, but "work hard, play hard" - Difficult to book a meeting with people on an other side of the globe

      Pros

      Lightspeed is on a mission to empower SMBs succeed in a digital world. Who wants to live in a world where all our local entrepreneurs providing unique retail and restaurant experiences are replaced by big box retail and fast food chains? If you want to work for a company that is focused on making a difference and considers employee retention and development as its core business strategy, you will not be disappointed. Yes we work hard. But we play hard as sell. Yes there is always room for improvement. But we are passionate about we do. We are moving fast and we learn from the past to better the future. Lightspeed is a special place to work at and you will be surrounded by driven people that challenge the status quo.

      Cons

      I can't think of any. Reading the negative comments I can't help but wonder how a company that kept every job safe in a global pandemic deserves less than 5 stars.
