Pros

Nice office environment Decent pay + MSFT Stock + benefits

Cons

Your experience at LinkedIn will be dictated by your org and team environment. Your job satisfaction will depend on your manager. There is little chance of meaningful progression. You will need to move to another role internally (hard to do because lots of others want to do the same), or leave to find growth elsewhere. Slow migrating to new systems e.g. SFDC to Dynamics taking years, bad implementation of Gainsight, and a plethora of ad-hoc dashboards to navigate. Lots of time spent on operational admin. Constant threat of layoffs or receiving a low review leading to a PiP (or Return to Success plan in LinkedIn speak). You will be made to feel very replaceable here.

Pros

DTO but that’s going away

Cons

The company is struggling big time in terms of finding ways to be innovative and stay relevant as the product is not as instrumental to one’s work as some might make it seem. People are tired and burnt out, but because the market is so bad everyone sits there and stays because of the fear there’s nowhere else to go. It has become a very metric based organization with not a lot of thought from leadership on the matrix even make sense organization is focused on. How much they can squeeze the juice out of the lemon at the sake of the employees well-being
