      Absolutely Horrible

      Discount on food, pay is reasonable.

      Cons

      Horrible atmosphere and incredibly high turnover of staff. Management have zero people skills and expect you to work long hours without showing you any respect. There's a HUGE blame culture in the finance department. They will say that we're 'one big team' but that couldn't be further from the truth (hence why so many people leave). I have no idea where any of the good reviews have come from as I hear that these issues are not exclusive to the finance department, but please don't do it to yourselves. Do NOT work here, for the sake of your mental health.

      The pay is competitive, which is about the only good part of working for this company

      Cons

      As a business they show no compassion towards staff. As a manager i was told on several occasions to 'just get rid' of staff members who had suffered injuries due to m&s saving money by not repairing equipment. I was due to leave 2 days before lockdown started and was refused to have my notice period extended by my my store manager and regional team, even though they knew it would cripple me financially and potentially mean i lose my house and car
