Pros

Friendly envinronment, employee discount, free food and drinks on break

Cons

The job is hard and super under-payed, even if you are dying they expect you to be at work, don't give hours if you wwant, give you too many hours when you ask them not to.

Pros

Decent relative hourly pay Regular wage (fortnightly)

Cons

Management do not always appreciate students cannot work all the time (even on a part time contract!) Pressure to work irregular hours (till midnight on a weekday). Ringing to demand you come into work when you are in lectures at university) Safety does not appear to be a priority for them. Taking bins out in the dark alone down a poorly lit alley, with drunk, disorderly and potentially dangerous individuals. Being threatened with violence by customers, in a bathroom. Two stabbing in the bathroom in the 5/6 months I was working there. Bullying culture is prevalent amongst regular staff, whom I believe are quite resentful of part-timers and management condone and often promote this. Not the most hygienic of jobs. Tiring work. The unjust attitude of my colleagues and pressure from management to work unsuitable/ unsocial hours ultimately made me leave.

Pros

-Free meal at the end of the shift -Easy to get hired

Cons

Low pay - paid minimum wage, not a cent above it. Lack of training - I did not receive any formal training on how to make certain drinks or desserts. Instead I was instructed to watch a general training video that didn't teach me what was relevant to performing my job Customers can be rude - it's McDonald's. Disorganized Seemed like high turnover
