Pros

Absolutely none, uneducated managers operating under a frat style mentality with no regard for social or professional values.

Cons

From the hiring process to leaving, Meltwater has proven to be the worst company Ive ever worked for. From the poor staffing to extremely unqualified upper management. Every bonus/travel opportunity & incentive is a lie. This sales targets are completely unreasonable/unattainable and no one really seems to understand how the "advanced AI analytics software" actually works. If you had a great time in high school you will probably enjoy the Meltwater culture.

Pros

-resume builder -make good connections in the industry -unlimited coffee and snacks

Cons

-the application says looking for a "culture fit". What they mean is they are looking for someone who doesn't challenge the status quo -upper management often makes employees feel uncomfortable (heavy drinking, sending inappropriate emails at 3am to the entire company) -religious discrimination. On March 30, 3018 employees were informed that those asking off for Good Friday are just lazy people who skip work and blame it on ghostly things -openly shamed for taking vacation days, calling in sick, missing quota, not fitting into their culture

Pros

Good office location. Good commission.

Cons

What I would consider to be a hostile work environment. Example: while making cold calls, my manager looked around the table and said that maybe I'd do better if they all made fun of me while I was on this call ("like, maybe it will spark some competitiveness."). I'm sorry, have you ever performed better on a phone call while people were actively making fun of you? Also, made disparaging remarks about a client on my first week there, among other things. Was just a predominately fake, unhealthy, overworked, arrogant, childish, flashy environment. Kept feeling like I was back in high school with mean girls, gossip and popularity contest. Bounced as soon as I could to a more professional, resected position.
